Flex joints carry the same rating as the truss they are used to connect together. Do not exceed the load on flex joints by ensuring you are fully aware of the capacity of the spans you are connecting. If connecting in the center of a span of X length, and the capacity in the center of the span is 980#, the load on the flex joints cannot exceed 990#. Flex joints are only used in pairs.
